About Us

HISTORY

Established in 2002 under the name Ascot Training Services, the family-owned and operated RTO was rebranded QualityEd in 2006 to reflect the growing number of courses offered to meet the demands of the Training and Education Industry and the vision and future direction of our organisation. QualityEd is still privately owned and is under the direction of a respected CEO, Meredith Bowles, with over 25 years industry experience, supported by a dedicated operational team.

Meredith believes in identifying and nurturing the potential and ambition of every staff member, learner and client by providing a family focused learning environment that respects cultural diversity, individual strengths and weaknesses and ensures open communication and mutual respect is paramount to the core principles of the company.

Compliance

QualityEd is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). RTOs are the only organisations in the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system authorised to:

  • Deliver and assess nationally recognised training
  • Issue nationally recognised qualifications and statements of attainment
  • Apply for government funding to provide VET services.

As such, all RTOs are required to comply with ASQA’s general directions and compliance monitoring activities (including regular audits) and remain compliant against the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 at all times.

QualityEd had a re-registration audit in 2022 and was deemed ‘Compliant’.

GOVERNANCE

QualityEd is the business/trading name of Ascot Training Services Pty Ltd. The Ascot Family Trust is the sole shareholder with Janice and Henry Ascot as Trustees (The Board of Directors).

The Board is responsible for the overall management and governance of the organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements. Our CEO is employed by the Board to advise and deliver the strategic plan for the organisation and is supported by industry experienced managers.

The Board meets quarterly to discuss business operations, monitor performance, review the strategic plan of the company and address any changes in legislative requirements and industry trends.
